Biography
Marjolein Uittenbogaard is a research employee involved in the project 'Two-part research on restoration.' Within this project she conducts research on themes related to the Special Jurisdiction, the system of justice that was established after World War II to try Dutch citizens suspected of collaboration with the Germans.
Marjolein studied European Studies at the University of Amsterdam (Bachelor) and Global History at the VU University (Research Master, cum laude). Her research interests focus on World War II and the Yugoslav Wars, combined with themes such as collective and personal memories, heritage, restoration of justice, and identity formation.
